Job Summary

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Contracting Division D, Contracts Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The full performance level of NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.

Job Description

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/GS-12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying a wide range of professional contracting methods to carry out pre-award and/or post-award procurement actions. Examples of qualifying experience include: (1) executing and managing cradle-to-grave acquisitions for supplies and services; (2) developing acquisition strategies and solicitations; (3) conducting market research and source selections and administering contracts and purchase orders; (4) advising program offices on Federal procurement requirements.
