Job Summary

You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER for the Chief Engineer (c240) in the Engineering & Planning Department (c200) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. PAY RANGE GS-11: $86,472 - $109,867 GS-09: $80,260 - $99,596

Job Description

GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a Professional Engineer reviewing engineering drawings, technical work documents, and shipboard conditions to determine system level isolation to isolate multiple work areas from hazardous energy, and coordinating and executing shipboard testing on non-nuclear systems (including SUBSAFE) to ensure reliability of shipboard components and systems. GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a Professional Engineer reviewing engineering drawings, technical work documents, and shipboard conditions to determine component level isolation to isolate a work area from hazardous energy, and coordinating and executing shipboard testing on non-nuclear systems (excluding SUBSAFE) to ensure reliability of shipboard components and systems.
