Job Summary
You will serve as a CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division (FEAD) of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using knowledge of construction trades to provide recommendations regarding construction materials, tools, and equipment used for facilities maintenance; 2) Performing administrative work to provide material, services, equipment, and contract support for construction projects; 3) Providing assistance, training, and technical guidance to other construction managers as appropriate, exercising management and administrative skills in the execution of construction projects; 4) Reading and interpreting blueprints, work orders, and schematics to determine the extent to which parts, materials, tools, and equipment are interchangeable; and 5) Managing multiple priorities and independently develop and provide technical recommendations/solutions to complex problems encountered during the administration of the construction contracts.
