Job Description
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (DP-04/GS-12-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional COMPUTER ENGINEER performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Demonstrating technical expertise in software engineering processes, software testing, software configuration management, technical documentation, and developing specifications and contract work statements; 2) Providing oversight direction, management, and coordination of a significant technical effort; 3) Mentoring and guiding junior personnel and other team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement; 4) Leading Software Support Activity (SSA) support, including design changes, maintenance, test and implementation of data analytics, network, cyber security, and support software projects within the assigned system software; 5) Reviewing contractor research, analysis, design documentation, development, tests, or equipment to determine conformance with contract technical requirements; and 6) Applying knowledge of cybersecurity requirements and processes to ensure compliance and maintain system integrity.
