Job Summary
You will serve as a Weight Handling Equipment Superintendent in the Weight Handling Program Division of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading a mixed workforce of both General Schedule and Wage Grade personnel; 2) Managing operational readiness and deployment of weight handling equipment; 3) Applying extensive knowledge of crane, weight handling and rigging operations procedures, regulations, and processes; 4) Communicating effectively with senior levels of management and military officials to resolve difficulties, acquire information, plan, and advise on issues; AND 5) Developing strategies and business practices for program operation and maintenance of equipment.
