Job Summary

You will serve as a LEAD TECHNICAL INFORMATION SPECIALIST in the LOGISTICS PRODUCT DATA DIVISION, AVIATION READINESS & RESOURCES ANALYSIS DEPARTMENT of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Demonstrating experience in a leadership role, including distributing and balancing workloads, ensuring timely accomplishment of tasks, and providing on-the-job training to team members; 2) Directing, planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring activities and projects within a technical library or similar environment; 3) Demonstrating experience with quality management systems, including initiating corrective actions, identifying quality problems, and performing root cause analysis; 4) Creating, modifying, and analyzing processes, procedures, and quality documents to meet regulatory requirements and improve operations; 5) Managing indexing, thesauri, vocabulary control, and cataloging configurations; 6) Analyzing and resolving complex problems related to technical data library operations and customer requests; 7) Performing difficult technical data research, abstracting, and indexing to meet specialized user needs; and 8) Demonstrating experience with procurement processes, including establishing internal procedures, determining acquisition methods, developing statements of work, and resolving issues with vendors.
