Job Summary

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a Logistics Management Specialist. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Experience in Acquisition Logistics and Program Management by applying structured methodologies to govern and manage the life cycle of military/enterprise systems or equipment. 2) Participating in program management reviews (PMRs), developing and maintaining Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs), and coordinating ILS elements to mitigate operational risks and meet mission readiness baselines. 3) Applicants should possess experience in supply chain, inventory, and asset management, which includes overseeing provisioning documentation, assigning Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability. 4) Applicants should have experience coordinating program-level logistics and supply support activities for assigned systems. This involves developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), defining key project milestones, monitoring program performance against baselines, preparing executive briefs/status reports, and implementing corrective action plans to prevent schedule slippage. 5) Lastly, applicants must demonstrate the ability to manage stakeholder relations and cross-functional communication, leading meetings with internal and external partners to align logistics requirements, resolve critical supply chain disruptions, and enforce compliance with supply support policies, federal acquisition regulations, and program guidelines.
