Job Summary
You will serve as an Engineering Technician (Drafting) in the Design Division, Planning, Design and Construction Directorate of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparation of designs, specifications and cost estimates for a wide range of shore facility projects; 2) Designs for facilities requiring extensive alterations, modifications or repair to extend their useful life to meet demands placed upon shore facilities; 3) Reviews project plans, specifications and submittals prior to contract aware and during execution for technical soundness, compliance with Navy requirements and to determine practicability from a construction management standpoint.
