Job Summary

You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the QUALITY ASSURANCE DIV, COMPLIANCE & QUALITY DEPT of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Applying quality and industrial engineering theories, concepts, and methods to conduct complex analyses, develop quality assurance approaches, and interpret technical standards in support of production operations; 2) Independently analyzing and resolving industrial production issues by applying engineering principles, evaluating process performance, and recommending technically sound solutions to support compliant manufacturing activities; 3) Conducting quality management reviews, project evaluations, and technical quality investigations while integrating data from multiple engineering disciplines to produce accurate findings; and 4) Providing comprehensive quality support, including assessing production processes, executing root-cause analyses for failures, and developing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure process reliability and product conformity.
