You will serve as a PHYSICAL SCIENTIST in the Enviromental Business Line of NAVAL FAC ENGR CMD EUROPE SW ASIA Italy.

Job Description

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensuring command compliance to federal, state, and local environmental planning protection regulations, policies and procedures; 2) Managing environmental projects and programs to support and sustain the commands environmental missions and multi-media environmental compliance on specific functions (i.e. drinking water, wastewater, hazardous material, pollution, air, etc.); 3) Developing alternative processes and procedures for deficiencies identified during environmental inspections; and 4) Assessing the impact of conditions and actions on public safety, ecology, and environment involving matters directly or closely related to public welfare and protection.; 5) Understanding the organization's financial processes/systems in regard to planning, programming, budgeting and execution of the environmental programs. Also prepares and justifies EV funded projects as part of the environmental program budget. NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position.
