Job Summary

You will serve as a ENGINEER/ARCHITECT in the Design and Construction Business Line (DCBL) Core, Construction Division (DC5), NAVFAC Pacific level of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG SYSTEMS COMMAND PAC.

Job Description

This position has an SPF which is current registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) from any state, the District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico. A copy of a wall certificate that does not show current registration status will not serve to verify you meet this requirement Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Coordinating complex construction facilities designs and construction such as housing, complex weapons and industrial facilities, airfields, etc. maintaining critical operating deadlines, while ensuring policies and processes are followed.2) Developing community management policies, providing professional construction and engineering and related technical support.3) Preparing and presenting status briefs related to scope of work, issues, potential risks, advises on potential impacts and provides recommendations.4) Reviewing, approving contractor's quality, safety programs and environment protection plans to ensure best management practices are followed.
