You will serve as a INTERDISCIPLINARY ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER / GEOLOGIST in the Environmental Program of NAVFAC OSF.

Job Description

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as a project manager for complex Navy Environmental Restoration projects, such as development of contractor scopes of work/performance work statements, government estimates, funds management, contractor proposal review and negotiation, contractor oversight, invoicing, and contracting officer representative (COR) duties, 2) Experience with Federal, state, and local laws and regulations, DON and DOW policies and processes related to Environmental Restoration management. 3) Understands the organization's financial processes. Prepares, justifies, and administers the program budget. Applies sound resource management principles, business or industry best practices, and applicable policies, regulations, and laws to support operations. Aligns resources with policy and the strategic direction and priorities. Oversees procurement and contracting to achieve desired results. Monitors expenditures and uses cost-benefit thinking to set priorities.
