Job Summary

You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the MATERIAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT BRANCH - CODE 24423 of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Salary Ranges: GS-11: $77,964 - $101,359 GS-12: $93,445 - $121,482

Job Description

GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: resolving technical discrepancies and mentoring junior engineering staff by applying Navy standards and interpreting corporate level policies to derive local-level instructions to maintain strict quality control and operational safety across shipboard systems. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-10) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: reviewing and interpreting shipboard maintenance requirements and manufacturing processes by working independently within established technical practices and collaborating with lead engineers to ensure the accurate material certification and mechanical readiness of naval vessels.
