You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (NUCLEAR) in the Production Resources Department, Nuclear Production Manager's Office, Code 300N of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying the latest developments in nuclear engineering to solve problems that are not readily treatable by accepted methods. Experience applying knowledge of related engineering fields such as mechanical and electrical and knowledge of naval nuclear radiological control requirements for shipyards. Experience understanding Production, Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Control Office requirements and responsibilities. Experience serving as the Production Resource Department's technical authority on shipyard nuclear production radiological controls and also quality and production techniques, associated with the repair, overhaul, refueling, decontamination, and operation of naval nuclear reactor plants. GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying knowledge of the radiological and quality controls as applicable to reactor plant and nuclear work facility systems. Experience preparing technical work document and conducting inspections. Experience applying concepts, principles, and practices of nuclear engineering. Experience applying knowledge of production based nuclear and reactor plant trade skills.
