Job Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (PROJECT MAINTENANCE) in the Maintenance Branch (Code 1440.3), Production Division (Code 1440), Naval Foundry and Propeller Center (NFPC) (Code 1400) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing an industrial workforce through subordinate supervisors or work leaders, such as machinery mechanics, electronics mechanics, and laborers, to meet production goals, safety standards, and schedule milestones. Experience tracking manpower, schedule, quality, and work execution. Experience supervising hands-on trade work, assigning daily tasks, evaluating individual performance, and addressing performance and conduct issues. Experience troubleshooting difficult mechanical or electrical repair issues on production machinery and coordinating directly with engineering departments to resolve technical roadblocks. Experience reviewing the quality, quantity, and cost and scheduled adherence of work performed by means of reports, discussions and periodic inspection of work.
