Job Summary
This position serves as the PMA-201 Precision Strike Weapons Advanced Systems Assistant Program Manager for Systems Engineering (APMSE). You will be responsible for supporting PMA-201 strategic planning, advanced technology development, execution of existing capabilities, support for long range fires and the systems engineering efforts to start new programs. You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER in the AIR PLATFORM SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DIV, SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DEPT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Job Description
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DP-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Serving as a Lead Systems Engineer or Technical Domain Subject Matter Expert to provide authoritative engineering input and advice to program management leadership; 2) Leading the development of Systems Engineering work products to support acquisition program milestones, strategic planning, risk characterization, and decision-making on major systems; 3) Directing the integration of broad organizational resources to support engineering development, planning, and testing for assigned systems; and 4) Leading engineering, technical, acquisition, and sustainment support personnel and teams.
