Job Summary
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the Training/Accident Prevention/Resource MGMT (TAR) Division (Code 230), Lifting and Handling (L&H) Department (Code 200), TRIDENT Refit Facility Kings Bay (TRIREFFAC-KB), Georgia of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience executing and monitoring procedures for inspections, tests, and certifications of weight handling equipment (WHE) and material handling equipment (MHE) to include nuclear requirements and explosive handling requirements. Experience monitoring entails determining the type of repair parts and tools that are necessary in equipment inspections and testing. Experience identifying and recommending changes to contract specifications that reflect increases or decreases in the scope of contracts and workloads. Eperience providing technical interpretations of work requirements listed in the contract specifications to ensure understanding by the contractor for any maintenance performed on WHE and MHE. Experience assisting in scheduling periodic maintenance inspections, testing, and certifications of all WHE and MHE and associated crane rails and tracks associated with WHE assigned to the command.
