You will serve as a ELECTRICAL ENGINEER in the ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT of Guam Detachment ofPEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Job Description

GS-12: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning and providing electrical engineering support services for submarines; 2) Identifying, analyzing, and providing solutions/recommendations for electrical engineering problems; 3) Using best engineering practices to develop new methods and criteria where specific guidelines do not exist. GS-11: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing engineering electrical support services for submarines; 2) Identifying and analyzing electrical engineering problems; 3) Apply a wide variety of reference materials to modify or refine guidelines to resolve difficult issues. - OR - In lieu of the specialized experience listed above, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience (GS-11 ONLY): Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
