Job Summary
You will serve as a FACILITY SERVICES ASSISTANT in the Facilities Management and Sustainment, Product line of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.
Job Description
GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Utilizing advanced and varied functions of software suites to include computerized asset management systems, e mail, spreadsheets, electronic calendars, and database management. 2) Identifying and selecting appropriate software application type (spreadsheet, database, word processing, etc.) to meet office needs and the requirements of the current assignment based on an understanding of the functional capabilities and limitations. 3) Performing a variety of administrative support duties such as researching information and creating a spreadsheet, inputting time and attendance accurately, tracking training requirements and completions. GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Assigning work orders to the appropriate trade and work center; 2) Managing, tracking and adjusting work order data using software systems; 3) Communicating daily with trades workers to review the status of work orders in order to update spreadsheets and schedules; 4) Dispatching call for service and emergency response teams.
