Job Summary
You will serve as a SAFETY & OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST in the Overseas Support Branch (C/106B.2) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting investigations of mishaps and/or perform risk assessments in order to develop specific methods for hazard mitigation and injury prevention; issuing safety and occupational health surveys to identify/evaluate risk potential involving hazardous work environments and occupations; developing and recommending safety and occupational health policy to management; and applying safety and occupational health laws, regulations, principles, theories, practices, and procedures to advise on and/or resolve technical matters dealing with occupational safety and health requirements.
