Job Summary
You will serve as a Division Head (Supervisory General Engineer) in the NAWCAD Lakehurst, ALRE Department, Ford Class Launch & Recovery Division of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-04/GS-13-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following duties: 1) Experience leading a government organization, including assigning work, setting priorities, and managing human resources based on mission needs, complexity of assignments, and employee capabilities; 2) Proven experience exercising technical authority and making rapid, risk-based decisions in support of fleet or operational readiness, particularly in time sensitive or high consequence environments. 3) Demonstrated skill in diplomacy, tact, and negotiation when dealing with differing or opposing points of view, goals, or objectives, to achieve consensus and drive organizational outcomes; 4) Expertise in acquisition and sustainment of ALRE launch and recovery products (or similar complex technical systems), across engineering, logistics, and related disciplines, serving as a primary technical point of contact; 5) Developing and managing government allocated program budgets, plans, and schedules, and conducting manpower/organizational assessments to optimize resources.
