Job Summary

As a Management & Program Analyst (Space Management) at the GS-0343-13, you will be part of the Central Services Division, Office of the Chief Financial Officer, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. If selected, you will be responsible for all facets of planning, developing, advising and administering commercially and federally leased real property and furniture for the agency's Headquarters and Field Offices.

Job Description

For the GS-13: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as applying federal laws, regulations, and guidance from GSA and OMB in space management, along with the ability to interpret the Federal Management Regulation and Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards while conducting space planning analysis, design, and implementation. This experience also includes leading space management projects and using AutoCAD and Excel to create and maintain space management databases for commercially and federally leased real property acquisitions, budgets, and furniture. Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS- 13 level. Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements (e.g., time-in-grade and qualification requirements) within 30 days of the closing date specified in the vacancy announcement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
