Job Summary
You will serve as a Facilities Manager in the Fleet Readiness Centers' Infrastructure Optimization and Modernization Program (FIOP), responsible for initiating and establishing technical policies, procedures, and implementing guidance for the maintenance, repair, construction, acquisition, and management of infrastructure resources for all COMFRC HQ.
Job Description
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a FACILITIES MANAGER professional performing some or all of the following duties: 1.) Providing technical guidance and recommendations regarding the maintenance of buildings occupied by personnel. Interacting on a routine basis with senior installation facility managers and engineers; 2.) Planning and executing seating configurations and maintaining records in the Infrastructure Business Operations Navy Support (IBONS) system; 3.) Monitoring internal and external condition of facilities daily to include parking lots and identifying and addressing any observed deficiencies; 4.) Coordinating fire and safety inspections and with other official personnel to ensure health and safety of personnel and 5.) Performing as technical point of contact for contract actions regarding renovations or upkeep of facilities, including cleaning service providers, and proper disposal of furniture, electronics or hardware.
