Job Summary
You will serve as a SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST in the Naval Installations of NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY BETHESDA.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing, implementing, and evaluating safety policies, procedures, and training programs. 2) Collaborating with management, supervisors, contractors, engineers, and occupational health professionals to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a culture of safety. 3) Preparing technical reports, presenting findings, and delivering safety training. 4) Assisting in performing site inspections that require walking, standing, climbing, bending, and working in industrial environments with potential exposure to machinery, chemicals, and other occupational hazards.
