Job Summary

You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Supply Management Department of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO.

Job Description

GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating the following: 1) Assist with annual budgets and process procurement requirements; 2) Analyze procurement data and develop recommendations for potential cost savings; 3) Provide technical advice and assistance on submitting procurement requirements; 4) Prepares purchase requests with assistance utilizing the appropriate procurement method, to include government purchase card, contract, project order, work order, or standard stock system; and 5) Ensures all renewal contracts, services, and leases do not have a break in service between fiscal years, or result in unauthorized commitments. GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating the following: 1) Assist with annual budgets and process procurement requirements; 2) Analyze procurement data and develop recommendations for potential cost savings; 3) Provide expert technical advice and assistance on submitting procurement requirements; 4) Prepares purchase requests utilizing the appropriate procurement method, to include government purchase card, contract, project order, work order, or standard stock system; 5) Ensures all renewal contracts, services, and leases do not have a break in service between fiscal years, or result in unauthorized commitments; and 6) Reviews and certifies invoices, ensuring that billings are attributed to the proper funding source.
