You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Headquarters & service company of MARCORPSBARRACKS.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performs contract surveillance and quality assurance for maintenance and construction contracts, conducts pre-bid reviews and inspections, manages budgets, serves as primary contractor point of contact and establishes inspection schedules; manages section operations and personnel, oversees major repair programs and in house maintenance, and investigates customer complaints; utilizes Engineering Performance Specifications (EPS) and schematics to evaluate project designs, facility repairs, and contract negotiations Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: 802 Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
