Job Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONICS INTERNAL SHOP MANAGER In the Electrical/Electronics Shop (Code 950) Production Resources Department Manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900), of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing a project or portion of a project which involves directing federal wage system and general schedule employees. Experience in project management, quality control, cost control, schedule control, and workflow control techniques. Experience demonstrating administrative knowledge of production trade work and technical methods, procedures, materials, and processes associated with the repair and overhaul of complex Navy vessels, with a specialized knowledge of Electrical/Electronic practices and operations sufficient to review, approve and direct work operations. Experience demonstrating knowledge of personnel management and ability to supervise.
