Job Summary
You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (AQUISITION SPECIALIST) in the NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Leading comprehensive acquisition management efforts, including planning, budgeting, and executing the delivery of products and services in alignment with cost, schedule, and performance objectives for complex programs. 2. Serving as a primary strategic interface or liaison between program managers, technical departments, and external stakeholders to align acquisition strategies, resolve cross-organizational challenges, and ensure fleet operational readiness. 3. Developing, coordinating, and delivering training, or providing expert mentorship to personnel on defense acquisition processes, lifecycle management, and procurement best practices. 4. Advising and briefing leadership on acquisition program status, financial execution, risk mitigation strategies, and opportunities to enhance program sustainment and warfighting capabilities. 5. Overseeing procurement management functions, such as developing acquisition strategies, managing Statements of Work (SOW), and evaluating contractor performance to ensure the timely delivery and sustainment of critical support equipment.
