You will serve as a TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of NAVAL SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following duties: Applying regulations that affect the packaging and transport of hazardous materials and equipment to ensure safe and compliant shipping. Offering alternative transportation methods, such as air and water freight, to provide customers with viable shipping options for long-distance or international movement outside the continental United States. Monitoring performance reports and customer survey results to provide management with summary statistics and key indicators, including proof of delivery timeframes and document errors, to meet transportation office objectives.
