Job Summary

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst of N8 Financial Management Department for the NAVAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING SECURITY ASSISTANCE FIELD ACTIVITY (NET SEC ASTFLD ACT).

Job Description

For the GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing financial management systems to input, sort, and generate financial data; 2) Applying administrative rules, regulations and procedures associated with financial recordkeeping, reporting, processing, and keeping track of financial transactions; 3) Reviewing and researching financial transactions and supporting documentation for reconciliation. For the GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Entering funding authorizations into various financial automated systems; 2) Processing accounting transactions for a wide variety of functions (i.e. commitments, obligations, accounts payable, rejected transactions); 3) Developing financial processes to improve the production and quality of work; 4) Interpreting and applying federal financial policies and regulations to ensure compliance with program requirements.
