Job Description
For GS-12 In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and maintaining training programs using instructional systems design principles and adult learning concepts. 2) Conducting training needs assessments and collaborating with subject matter experts to develop course materials and curriculum. 3) Evaluating training effectiveness and revising instructional materials to ensure compliance with policies and standards. 4) Managing contracts or contractor performance, reviewing deliverables, and supporting acquisitions and COR activities. 5) Preparing reports, briefings, and training documentation using automated systems and learning management tools. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting with the design, development, and delivery of training programs using instructional systems design principles and adult learning concepts. 2) Conducting training analyses and developing course materials, lesson plans, and instructional resources in collaboration with instructors and subject matter experts. 3) Reviewing and updating curriculum to ensure training materials comply with applicable policies, standards, and organizational requirements. 4) Supporting contract administration activities by monitoring contractor performance, reviewing deliverables, and maintaining contract-related documentation. 5) Preparing reports, briefings, and correspondence and utilizing automated systems to support training and program management.
