Job Summary
You will serve as a SAFETY & OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST in the of CNIC Installation, in the Safety and Occupational Health Office NAVBASE KITSAP SILVERDALE WA.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience analyzing data on work operations, mishaps, and safety practices to prepare reports of findings that propose corrective measures for unsafe conditions and hazardous work practices Experience investigating mishaps, hazard reports, and unsafe or unhealthful working conditions to protect personnel and property Experience advising personnel of safety and occupational health measures to control or eliminate hazardous operating processes Experience conducting safety and occupational health inspections and surveys to evaluate effectiveness of unit safety program.
