You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LIBRARIAN in the Research and Development Group, Research Dept, Technical Library Div of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9/12) or pay band (NM-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Experience managing Scientific and Technical Information (STI) environments; 2) Proficiency in modern library science principles, including the administration of Integrated Library Systems (ILS) and electronic resource management platforms; 3) Evaluating, acquiring, and maintaining specialized collections that directly support complex engineering and scientific research; 4) Experience serving in a leadership role; 5) Utilizing knowledge of security regulations governing the storage, handling, and dissemination of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and technical data subject to strict distribution statements; 6) Experience in budget execution and procurement processes for high-value subscription management.
