Job Summary
You will serve as a Supervisory Data Scientist in the Analytics Group, Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers of COMFLTREADCEN.
Job Description
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Leading technical authority, guiding the team in meeting readiness requirements through rigorous data analysis; 2) Defining, interpreting, and clarifying data presentation requirements for various readiness reports and analytical products; 3) Applying and developing operational standards for analyzing, testing, and assessing emerging analytical technologies and quantitative methods to enhance data-driven decision; 4) Providing expert technical guidance to the analytics team on methodologies, tools, and best practices; 5) Planning and scheduling work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting short-term priorities, and preparing schedules for the completion of analytical projects and reports; 6) Providing advice, counsel, and instruction to employees on both work-related and administrative matters.
