Job Summary
You will serve as a TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST in the Command, Control, Communications & Information (C4I) (N6) Directorate of Atlantic Submarine Force Operations Component on the staff of Commander Submarine Force, U.S. Atlantic Fleet (COMSUBLANT) of TASK FORCE 82.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience and expert knowledge of telecommunications systems, automated networks, Communications management and Naval Telecommunications command organization and infrastructure. Experience and specialized knowledge of telecommunications management policy, emergent technology and organizational requirements. Experience and expert knowledge of the characteristics, properties, uses and interrelationships of complete, complex communications systems, circuits, and groups of classes or subsystems. Experience and demonstrated technical knowledge of military or commercial telecommunications equipment maintenance and operation techniques and practices. Experience and demonstrated technical knowledge of concepts of communications equipment and system design, capabilities and limitations of standard telecommunication equipment and transmission media. Experience and in-depth knowledge of contracting procedures to review proposals for technical adequacy and vendor ability to perform, as well as to monitor contractor performance in fulfilling contractual obligations.
