You will serve as a SITE MANAGER (BASE SUPPORT VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT) in the TRANSPORTATION DIVISION of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying a comprehensive knowledge of pertinent regulations, policies, directives, and procedures concerning procurement of equipment and the application of Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE) to meet the needs of a PWD Transportation Department; 2) Conducting studies to determine transportation service requirements for an installation; 3) Planning work for subordinates including setting priorities and assigning work of employees, counseling employees on work and administrative matters; interviewing and selecting candidates for appointment, promotion and reassignment; 4) Utilizing automated systems to facilitate data processing (i.e. MAXIMO, NET, BSVEMIS, and FAST); and 5) Resolving business and operational problems encountered by subordinate staff to meet the needs of a PWD Transportation Department.
