Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing input on training plans and objectives; analyzes training requirements and completion rates; deconflicts scheduling; generates reports showing readiness statistics for use by senior specialists and leadership. Additional Information: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The work is administrative in nature. Manual dexterity is required in operation of a computer, calculator and other office machines. The work requires some walking and climbing associated with the execu6on and planning of training events, including some assignments that may require the physical ability to drive to site along with occasionally being exposed to the weather (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.). During the conduct of training events, the incumbent may be expected to stand for long periods of time during exercise evaluation or be expected to move props and training aids in support of training events. Regular and recurring physical exertion may result from the activities inherent in performing in this position. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Most functions are performed in an office setting, adequately lighted, heated, ventilated, etc. The majority of work is performed in reasonable well-appointed office spaces. There may be Local travel and occasional travel to other Navy installations within the United States for exercise planning purposes. Incumbent may be required to perform some work on board ships and other locations for coordination, observation, or evaluation purposes when planning and conducting regional training exercises. Military Spouse Preference applicants will be placed at the highest grade for which they have applied and are determined Best Qualified (BQ). A BQ military spouse possesses knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies comparable to others who meet the competitive referral criteria for the specific position. PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation. ICTAP Applicants: To be considered well-qualified and exercise selection priority as an ICTAP candidate, displaced Federal employees must satisfy all qualification requirements for the position and receive a rating in the highly qualified category (score 85) or higher. ICTAP candidates must provide copies of all of the following documentation at the time of application: 1) agency notice; 2) most recent performance appraisal; and 3) most recent SF-50 or notification of personnel action that includes position, grade level, and duty location.
