Job Summary
You will serve as a Production Support Specialist (Aircraft) in the Centralized Coordination Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating the following: 1.) Possess a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of industrial management, analytical principles, process flow, depot operations, material procurement and financial principles; 2.) Applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations; 3.) Ingenuity when unconventional problems develop for which a solution is not covered by instructions/directions or policies; 4.) Knowledge and be proficient in the Naval Depot Maintenance Systems (NDMS) and the concepts of MRP/MRP II and knowledge of Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS) Aircraft Delivery Deficiency Report (ADDR), while also having skill in using different computer applications and database programs, including MS Word and Microsoft Excel; 5.) Applying management and administrative experience, demonstrating adaptability, flexibility, and exceptional skills in planning, organizing, scheduling and problem definition; the ability to make decisions and the capability to work under pressure; 6.) Must possess a high degree of self-motivation and initiative as well as excellent communication skills when dealing with various managers and support groups. Must be able to coordinate the work of others and integrate several functions into an effective program. Must possess conflict management and resolution skills and be able to resolve individual or group concerns relative to execution of the Master Production Schedule.
