Job Summary
You will serve as an INVESTIGATIVE ANALYST in the Criminal Investigations and Operations Directorate of NCIS. All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Job Description
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Researching and analyzing investigative reports; Evaluating investigative information and preparing comprehensive analytical data Preparing statistical and narrative reports from investigative reports; AND Conducting liaison with representatives of other law enforcement agencies. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with researching and analyzing investigative reports; Assisting with evaluating investigative information and preparing comprehensive analytical data; Assisting with prepares statistical and narrative report from investigative report.
