You will serve as a Systems Accountant in the Accounting Systems Branch, Code 0832 of OFFICE OF NAVAL RESEARCH.

Job Description

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05/10) or pay band (NO-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following experience: 1) Executing complex financial operations through DFAS payment systems to provide critical fiscal support for Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) program objectives.2) Resolving complex financial discrepancies such as invoice rejects and unmatched disbursements; 3) Researching, analyzing and interpreting transactions recorded in the general ledger; and 4) Presenting concepts effectively through both verbal briefings and written correspondence.
