Job Summary
You will serve as a Construction Manager within the ROICC department of NAVFAC NORTHWEST.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing assigned projects or major portions of large projects being procured and built under a construction contract; 2) Overseeing a wide variety of functions to monitor and maintain progress, and ensure safe, high quality and timely completion of construction contracts within the approved project budget; 3) Enforcing contract compliance with all contractual requirements regarding project delivery, project schedules, and time and cost management; 4) Implementing government Quality Assurance (QA) Programs, conducting QA/QC Coordination (Mutual Understanding) meetings, review of quality control plans and procedures and assessments of contractor performance through regular field surveillance and daily documentation procedures; and 5) Working with customers, contractors, designers, quality assurance, and Field Engineering Command personnel to determine appropriate direction and/or changes necessary to the contracts to provide the customer with fully functional facilities.
