Job Summary

You will serve as a Telecommunications Specialist of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.

Job Description

GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience demonstrates performing duties such as: 1) Understanding tactical or strategic level Satellite Communications (SATCOM) systems, architectures, facilities, equipment, and procedures; 2) Applying knowledge of facilitating effective liaison between technical development teams and end users, resolving design, implementation, and operational challenges to ensure timely delivery of SATCOM capabilities; 3) Providing systems administration and evaluation of computer networks including multi-disciplined targeting/intelligence automated systems; 4) Developing, coordinating, and executing policy and guidance on strategic targeting plans including targeting and attack policy, strategic targeting selection, and targeting guidance for operational fires; and 5) Coordinating with operational personnel by identifying needs and capabilities and 6) translating them into automated standard specifications and implementing and integrating cutting-edge communications technologies, including new methodologies, waveforms, networking software, and interfaces, to enhance the performance and security of SATCOM systems. .GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
