You will serve as a TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT in the FLEET READINESS CENETER MID ATLANTIC AIRCRAFT DEPARTMENT of FRC SE DET MIDLANT OCEANA.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: Utilizing Defense Travel System (DTS), DOD and DON Government Travel Credit Cards (GTCC) programs, DOD financial management debt collection and official travel principles, practices and procedures to implement travel regulations, methods and processes; Reviewing and analyzing official travel regulations to ensure processing requirements are executed in an adequate time; Evaluating technical data and interpreting GTCC program requirements to develop, refine, and interpret programs and procedures and identify issues to reconcile discrepancies; Performing a wide range of interrelated and/or non-standard travel assignments to help resolve a wide range of issues and/or problems that may arise in any emergent and non-emergent situations; Providing information and assistance to employees regarding passports, visas, and official travel authorization/orders.
