Job Summary
The position is located in Space and Facilities Management (SFM), Office of the Chief Administrative Services Officer (OCASO), Federal Trade Commission (FTC). OCASO provides agency-wide management and services for facilities and real property management, physical security, operations and emergency response management, and other general administrative operations including mail, office supplies, PIV badging, office assignment, and stenographic services that support the mission of the FTC.
Job Description
To qualify for a Supervisory Program Manager at the GS-15 level, you must meet the following requirements: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: Assessing and improving complex processes and systems associated with associated with the interior design process and space renovations to meet agency and user requirements for commercial, federal, and historical buildings, by supervising department staff, identifying, researching, and creatively solving various industry issues. Formulating projects, assessing program effectiveness; and investigating a variety of unusual conditions, problems; acquiring or disposing of real property and negotiating real property agreements for federal or commercial properties. Serves as a major team member who uses expertise to brief senior leadership to brief senior leadership on all areas related to space planning, programs of requirements, designs, renovations, and the implementation of construction projects while submitting long-range plans for the acquisition, renovations, and modernization of space. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
