Job Description
NO-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05/10 grade level or NO-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing extensive and thorough legal research and analyses of Federal law and regulation, legislative history, precedents, decisions, and opinions, particularly in the area of Intellectual Property (IP) law using multiple resources, i.e., legal treatises, legal research websites, federal instructions, federal guidance, or federal policy; 2) Utilizing computers and computer programs, preferably HOBBES, used to support IP practice; and 3) Communicating effectively both orally and in writing. NO-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/12 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing extensive and thorough legal research and analyses of Federal law and regulation, legislative history, precedents, decisions, and opinions, particularly in the area of Intellectual Property (IP) law using multiple resources, i.e., legal treatises, legal research websites, federal instructions, federal guidance, or federal policy; 2) Applying knowledge and comprehension of the field of engineering and science sufficient to determine whether further review by a DON claimancy is warranted and the DON activity best qualified to decide on the imposition of Secrecy Order; 3) Utilizing computers and computer programs, preferably HOBBES, used to support IP practice; and 4) Communicating effectively both orally and in writing.
