Job Summary
You will serve as the Director of USW Unmanned Systems and Autonomous Behavior for the Code 75 Ocean Science, Autonomous Systems and Ranges Department of Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, in Newport, RI. This is a Naval Research and Development Establishment (NRDE) key leadership position dedicated to the pursuit of facilitating USW Unmanned Systems Technologies to address operational gaps and needs identified by Navy and Marine Corps Operational Forces.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (TQs): Your resume should demonstrate accomplishments that would satisfy the technical qualifications: TQ#1: Possess expertise in several of the following technologies: non-acoustic systems, processing for unmanned undersea systems, underwater vehicles autonomous system architecture, traditional and non-traditional undersea navigation, propulsion, energy, acoustic communications and sensor development. TQ#2: Possess the ability to furnish highly advanced and/or unprecedented scientific and/or technical guidance and recommendations to top-level administrative and technical management officials within the DON, DOD and other government agencies and outside organizations such as academia and industry.
