Job Summary
You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (WIL) in the Work Integration Branch (C301.22), Operations Department (C300) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with In-depth knowledge of skilled trades operations, processes and shop work associated with the shipbuilding/repair industry; Experience in a variety of support shop operations and practices, sufficient to provide interface recommendations for dealing with cranes and other services for non-shipyard activities; Experience and knowledge in ship repair project planning, integration, scheduling and execution strategy; Experience in the sequencing and timing of key program events and milestones; Experience in naval shipyard operations, production and management techniques and concepts, and the location, capacity, capability, and availability of facilities and services of the naval shipyard industrial complex; Experience and working knowledge of AIM processes and a thorough understanding of each AIM module, Project Management Plan (PMP), contract Administration & Financial Control (CAF), Job Planning (JPL), Work Packaging and Control (WPC), and Execution Control (EXC); Experience with multi-user/multi-project computer systems, an understanding of precedence relationships and links with related project networks; Experience understanding Navy, major command, and other levels of maintenance engineering program requirements pertinent to the development of scheduling maintenance requirements.
