You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the Berth Day Port Operations Center, Port OPS division of US NAVAL BASE GUAM.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing, planning, analyzing, programing, implementing, installing, and testing of all Degaussing Range software and hardware upgrades; and applying configuration control of software and hardware components of Degaussing Range including: 1. reviewing, maintaining, and publicizing technical records of magnetic measurements, degaussing system operating instructions, and operational charts. 2. Applying advanced electronics principles to support the installation, operation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex electronic systems and equipment. 3. Analyzing system performance and diagnosing malfunctions in electronic, communication, radar, or surveillance systems. 4. Interpreting technical schematics, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and system specifications. 5. Providing technical guidance or recommendations on electronics system upgrades, modifications, and improvements.
