Job Summary
You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (OA) in the ADMINISTRATIVE/PERSONNEL SUPPORT DIVISION of RECRUIT TRAINING COMMAND.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Using strong oral and written communication skills for interacting with military and civilian personnel at all levels; 2) Using Microsoft Office Suite to generate documents, manage databases, spreadsheets, and calendars; 3) Processing Navy directives, correspondence, awards, and evaluations; AND 4) Handling sensitive information and understanding sensitive information policies, such as Personally Identified Information (PII), Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
