Job Summary
You will serve as a BUSINESS AND ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the OCEANS TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-03 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 through GS-14. The position has a control point equivalent to the GS-12 Step 10 grade.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 (GS-05 THROUGH GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing financial programs and funding, historical trends and budget requirements; 2) Identifying shortfalls and trade-offs in order to ensure appropriate funding for personnel and projects; 3) Providing detailed reports, financial/statistical charts and graphs for management briefing and presentations; 4) Distributing established controls and budget targets to leadership to ensure that execution targets are being tracked; 5) Conducting studies, analyzing quantitative and qualitative workload data used to populate and maintain tracking systems; and 6) Recommending adjustments to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
